The rain is making me wish I was back in Southwold on one of the many warm days we had where I spent my time reading Lula, painting my nails (I must let my nails grow) and sipping gin and tonic’s!
I got Lula when I was last in Manchester ( from Magma of course ) but due having a lack of a job I gave it to my sister to give to me for my birthday! April 5th was the first time I opened a copy of Lula…it is just the most pretty thing I have seen…so very delightful and if you have not had the chance to read a copy of Lula do make sure you do !
As I lifted each page with care – note I did not flick through this magazine – I was delighted by each page that greeted me….I then got to an interview with Joanna Newsom about her new album -how fantastic…and it really was ! So yes, I am now ready to consider myself a Lula girl. Lets hope I find a job so I can continue to buy it !
I want to say more on Joanna Newsom and her new album and of course the lovely Lula article but I think that maybe I will do a post later in the week just for her. . . Yes, that is what I will do ! Oh and I must tell you about some of the other new records I got…here is a sneaky peak to one – infatct I know many of you will have popped out to get this one too…
Oh and before I forget the lovely heart necklace that is fitting in so well with Lula is from Fat Face and in the sale too…the colours are just perfect for me !
I do not think I will be painting my nails in the sun today!
