My order from Chash Tea arrived on Wednesday and I didn’t waste a moment opening it up and trying out the lovely tea I ordered.
As soon as the box was open I was hit with the beautiful smell of spiced tea, it was very Christmas…quite like Christmas in a box.
I spent ages deciding on which tea to pick from the Chash Tea site, I decided to go for Christmas flavours, or the ones which make me feel Christmasy anyway. I picked Organic Winter Spice and Vanilla Chai, two teas which I feel will be perfect for cold evenings infront of the fire or to make in a flask for a crispy morning.
They are packaged in a pretty clear bag which is particularly nice for the loose tea, it really makes you realise how many different things it is made up of. It also makes me think of the woodland and I could almost trick myself into believing that I went out and picked and dried the tea myself. I didn’t though, maybe one day.
I think that a bag of special tea would make a really nice Christmas gift for a tea lover. You can also get a Chash Taste Selection which I think would make a fab gift for someone who wants to try some new varieties of tea but are not sure what to go for. I decided to treat myself this time as I needed to stock up on some herbal teas and Chash is one of my favourite tea brands.
I haven’t used the Organic Winter Spice yet but will make sure I keep you updated with my thoughts on it. I can tell you that it smells lovely and the quantity you get for £5.95 is totally worth it, if you love tea of course.
I enjoyed a cup of Vanilla Chai last night, I had it black but I think it would also be tasty with milk in. I reused the bag twice as I didn’t make it in a pot ( which I usually do ) and both times the taste was full of flavour. You get 15 bags for £4.99, I think this price is fine for a quality fresh tea, I know some of you may think it’s a little pricey but it is actually priced the same as other quality teas on the market.
Dan from Chash added a few sample teas into the box for me to try. I haven’t tested them out yet but will let you know when I do, one is Peppermint Leaves and the other is Earl Grey ‘Bluestar’.
If you are a fan of tea or know others who are then do check out the website.
What is your favourite kind of tea ?
