Stocking filler Alert !
I was given Pow Wow within a Lush gift bag from the Christmas blogger meet up. We got many more lovely gifts which you will see soon, many of which I think would make fantastic stocking fillers. I have used the odd Lush product here and there and always buy their products as gifts. I haven’t been brave enough to use their bath bombs or creams due to my sensitive skin. I have been given some fab bath bombs, creams and lip products to try out and I am pleased to say that if you have sensitive skin you can shop at Lush. I would recommend asking someone within the store about the products they recommend for you, I find that the staff in Lush are very helpful and always happy to give you little sample pots of cream to try out on your skin.
I was very excited to try this lip scrub out, I had seen the Bubblegum one in the stores but never purchased it as I was worried it may affect my skin. Luckily I was wrong, the Pow Wow lip scrub is fine for my skin, it smells and tastes fantastic and I recommend you use it once or twice a week to exfoliate your lips.
To me, the Pow Wow lip scrub smells and tastes like green sweets, I know that may not be the best description but if you are a fan of green sweets in packs of skittles then you will know exactly what I mean. It has a kick of lime to it and the popping candy adds a little fun to what could otherwise be a dull exfoliating routine. Everything used to make Pow Wow is natural and it’s Vegan friendly too, if you head over to the Lush website you will see exactly what Pow Wow contains and click on the ingredients to find out more about them.
I suggest that you use this over the sinks because otherwise you may end up with bits dropping onto the floor or down your clothes (like I did). I should say again that Pow Wow is fine for those of you with sensitive skin like me, it will be different for everyone but at least you know that my crazy skin didn’t react badly to this lip scrub.
Stocking filler: I think Pow Wow would make a fantastic little extra gift, as a stocking filler or even just as a small token gift to a friend. You shouldn’t be worried about getting someone a small gift for Christmas, there is many things you can get for people without spending lots of money. It’s hard at the moment as there is so much unemployment, lots of graduates are walking around with their CV in one hand and shopping for Christmas gifts in the other. Don’t worry about spending lots, just find or make something unique. The Pow Wow lip scrub is £4.75 which I think is a good price to treat a dear friend with a fun and useful gift.
