You don’t need a girlfriend or a boyfriend to enjoy Valentines Day. You have friends and family who love you so why not buy them some flowers or a box of chocolate or even tell them you love them. Take Valentines Day as a day to let everyone special in your life know you care. Yes, you can do this any day of the year but why not make the most of this manufactured day and just tell someone you love them. Don’t focus on the money or gifts and don’t focus on the fact that you are SINGLE. Being single is not a bad thing, make the most of your single days and enjoy being you. Enjoy doing what you want, making new friends and choices where you only need to consider yourself. Sure it’s delightful to share your life with someone but the time will come so don’t be sad at the fact that right now you are single. Be happy about being single, about having friends in your life and about having family who care.
My dad used to buy flowers for my mum, sister and met each Valentines Day. I am not at home this year, but it’s nice to have that memory. People should use Valentines Day to just telling anyone and everyone they love them or care about them. This way everyone would walk around smiling all day.
