A beautiful mug to hold your favourite winter drink is a must in every household. A cosy evening at home with a strong cup of tea (or mulled wine), toasty socks and a pile of magazines is my favourite thing to do in the run up to Christmas. Actually, it’s my favourite thing to do all year ’round.
There are lots of pretty mug designs knocking around in the shops at the moment. You only have to walk into the entrance of most department stores and you’re greeted with marvellous displays of animal themed homeware. The hard bit is picking your favourite.
I think a pretty mug or teacup and saucer makes for the perfect Christmas present. Especially if someone has a favourite designer, animal or print. It makes them very easy to buy for. Oh and if you find yourself with too many cups in the house then take one to work. There’s nothing quite like drinking out of your own cup at your desk.
