Over the last few months my hair has been really irritating me. I feel like I’m always saying this, but this time ’round it’s more about the condition of my hair and not the style. My hair has been dry, tangled, knotty and a pain to brush. Most normal people would go to the hairdresser, get all the unhealthy ends off and go for a fresh look. For some reason I find it hard to fit a hair appointment in and always leave it to the last minute. Once this post is live I will have visited a hairdresser and I plan to go for a medium length cut.
I’ve been using lots of new hair products (shampoo, conditioner and hair masks) to look after my hair over the last two months. I will be sharing some of my favourites in the upcoming weeks. As my hair has be getting tangled for a long time I thought I’d start off with theLovea Detangling and Conditioning Spray. It fell into my life thanks to the kind folk over at MyPure, at the start of July and I’ve been using it after every shower.
I’d thought about buying a detangling spray before this one but presumed that they wouldn’t work. I also had it in my mind that they were designed for kids. I’ve no idea how I formed that idea but I can assure you it’s a load of rubbish. I’ve taken this on a few weekends away and I can’t imagine I’ll be without it (or a detangler) for a while now.
This is a leave-in conditioner which you spray onto your wet hair and then comb through. I focus on the middle and ends of my hair but avoid the scalp. I then use my good old Tangle Teezer to comb through my hair after leaving the product for a good five minutes. This spray makes my hair much much easier to brush through and once it’s dry it’s very easy to manage. I’ve found myself making more of an effort to style my hair because it’s felt a lot less frizzy and tangled.
I’m a big fan of products from Lovea and have repurchased their body cream, sun cream and scrubs many times. All the products have a sweet nutty scent of Argan Oil, which I really like. I’ve found that the spray does leave a light scent in your hair but it’s very pleasant.
I think £6.49 is a fair amount to pay for an organic hair detangling spray. I know I’ll be repurchasing this once I’ve used the bottle up. If you’re suffering from tangled hair then it’s well worth giving a try.
Do you use a hair detangling spray?
