I’m finally found the time to tell you about DGJ Organics. I say finally because I’ve now been using this brand for about a year. They originally sent me a couple of bottles to try out and I used them up, moved to a new city and never got ’round to sharing them with you. After the bottles were finished I was quick to hunt down where I could buy DGJ Organics and luckily, I found them in my local Waitrose. I’ve since been buying them on a regular basis and every few months they’re on special offer (two bottles for £8), yay.
As you can see from the photos, one of my favourites from the range is the Hairjuice Everyday shampoo and conditioner. The products have a sweet scent of honeydew melon, very refreshing and not at all sickly. The scent of the product lasts in your hair for a good few hours after washing and right now I can’t get enough of it. I was tempted to try something new the other day but after a little consideration I realised I’m best to stick to something I know works really well.
I find that a little squish of the shampoo and conditioner goes a really long way. My bottles tend to last for a month and a half, I wash my hair most days (I know, it’s not cool or clever).
Since using DGJ Organics I’ve had no irritations to my skin and my hair always feels lovely and soft. I used to suffer with very knotty hair but since changing to this shampoo and conditioner the problem has vanished, thankfully. I’ve also used the Hangover hair mask which I like almost as much as the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle.
I was interested to read that the DGJ Organics launched over 8 years ago, why it took me so long to find it I’ll never know. They go to great lengths to ensure that all products are produced as organically as possible while still maintaining the professional salon results we all long for. I’ve used many brands of shampoo and conditioner over the years and even if they’ve treated my hair well they can sometimes cause irritation to my skin. I now prefer to use products with less harsh chemicals in, especially ones which are sulfate free (a foaming agent).
I’m keen to try Volume Plus but haven’t found it stocked here yet, I’ll let you know if I find it.
Do you always use the same shampoo and conditioner?
