Tonight I’m here to tell you about #ScopeForGood.
I’ve been following Aj over on Twitter and Periscope for a while now and through him I’ve discovered – Tasmin, Mark and Alex. This team of good people have got together and founded #ScopeForGood.
The idea is to support people who have suffered as a result of natural disasters all over the world. Not only that, but they want to raise awareness of all the positive and amazing things people do to raise money for these causes. This is where Periscope comes in.
The charitable and hard work being done by people around the world will be live-streamed through Periscope (you haven’t downloaded it? change that now). Periscope is central to the idea for #ScopeForGood. It provides the tool and platform needed to give insight into stories the media has long forgotten.
I’m personally a very big fan of Periscope. It gives people the power to instantly capture and share their story and in some cases, take the media into their own hands. There’s a lot of potential for people, charities, brands and bloggers on this platform so make sure it’s downloaded on your phone. It’s very important to keep up with the changes in social media, always be ready to adapt and embrace the new.
So, how can you get involved with #ScopeForGood? Simply add the hashtag #ScopeForGood into your Periscope bios (show your support) and join up over on the website.
Check out the website and keep up with the latest news on Twitter, Facebook and of course, Periscope (follow on Twitter they’ll show up in your Periscope follower suggestions).
