Korbo Basket | Sorrento Hammam Towels | Ile De Re Stripe Runner
I’m really enjoying these weekly House & Home posts and I hope some of you are. I’ve always had a keen interest in homes and interior design. Through these posts I’ve had more time to focus and develop upon that interest.
Today is all about coastal living. My picks have all come from The White Company. I think they offer a lovely range of products which can be used to bring costal touches to your city home. I’ve picked out 3 of my current favourites to share with you today.
First you’ll see the Korbo basket which has been hand-woven from one piece of steel. I think the basket is a very neat and simple design but offers many practical uses. Practicality is something I’m trying to keep in mind whenever I buy something new. I think the basket would be useful for storing fresh towels in the bathroom or blankets and magazines in the lounge. Next are the lightweight Sorrento Hammam towels. Again, these are such a simple and crisp design with a sharp stripe detail. These towels are quick drying which makes them perfect for picnics in the garden, trips to the seaside and popping into your suitcase. Finally the Ile De Stripe runner is is a very easy way of adding interesting detailing to your dining table and is something you can bring out every summer. Just be careful not to spill red wine on it.
I’m thinking about the seaside a lot at the moment. I miss living by it but I’m sure I’ll get the chance to do it again. In the meantime I’ve fallen for crisp whites, soft blues and light wood. I’ve even created a board on Pinterest called The Beach House. If you want more of what you’ve seen today then please come and join me.
