Most mornings I roll out of bed with time for exercise, breakfast and emails. But there are some where that just doesn’t happen. Working late often means I have to get ready real quick and head straight to my co-working space.
I don’t know about you, but if I don’t have breakfast then I fall into a slump around mid-morning. Losing focus on work so early on in the day is never good. It’s happened a few times recently so I did a little research to find a healthy and allergy friend breakfast spot on my walk into work.
I was already a big fan of Nourish and stop by for lunch most days. I decided to take a closer look at their breakfast options and was delighted to see that their porridge is dairy and gluten free. It’s made with coconut milk and there’s the option of adding chia jam on top. It’s delicious, and that’s coming from someone who is very fussy about porridge.
They have many more breakfast options on the menu. They do avocado and bacon rolls, sweet potato pancakes, acai bowls and my favourite, porridge. I also highly rate the Eggs, No Toast (scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, avocado and spinach). I used to always pick that but I’m having to avoid eggs as part of an elimination diet at the moment.
That’s all for today. Let me know if you stop by Nourish for breakfast.
