Back in December I shared a post with 12 awesome indie makers to support. It went down really well and I thought it would be fun to #ShareTheLove and put together a similar post. Today’s post is focused on handmade made cards for Valentine’s Day.
I hope you enjoy the list and that it gives you a little inspiration to shop local or handmade when you can. Just so you know, all the photos within this post have been taken from the Etsy shop of each maker. The photos all link back to their respective Etsy shop.
– Gin Bunny Prints – I discovered Katie’s work today and I just love the modern and relatable messages they offer. This is one of my favourites from her Valentine’s Collection, there are so many other cute and funny ones too.
– Do You Punctuate – If you’re looking for something a little more cheeky then Bec has got you sorted. I really like the Happy Valentines Blah Blah Gin and You’re the only Weirdo Perfect for Me.
– Onetenzeroseven – Sophie adds a little tea or Yorkshire twist on everything she makes. Her shop is full of colourful products, I really like this You Cutea card she makes.
– Elsie & Nell – Laura is based in Sheffield and her shop is full of beautiful designs with fun quotes. As much as I love her You Make Me Happier Than Cheesy Chips card I think I’d have to go for her You’re My Lobster card, I love a good Friends memory.
– No-Me – Naomi creates funny cards, personalised illustrations and much more. I’ve totally fallen for this Modern Day Love card, you must explore the rest of her products too.
– Catchlove Create – If you’re a fan of cute animals and cheesy puns then you’ll love Hannah’s work. I really like the seal of approval – isn’t it so sweet?
– Finch and the Fallow – Martin is a recent discovery for me. He creates cute and quirky cards with a cheeky message. I also really like this llama card he makes.
– Miss Bespoke Papercuts – Aimee creates beautiful papercut illustrations with personalised names. A personalised card is always a little more special.
– Vera La Lune – Rebecca’s illustrations are just so sweet. I love that she’s got this Friends themed card but this Olive You card would be ideal for P.
– Louse Wright Design – Louise creates beautiful cards with warm messages. You’ll find lots of animals, woodland themes and even some fruity designs in her shop.
I’m always looking for small businesses to support and promote so please feel free to leave a link to your own shop or your favourite makers in the comment section below.
