Spring is coming up so I thought it would be fun to start re-organising my wardrobe. I want to bring all my soft pastels to the front, add a few fresh pieces to my collection and of course, keep going with my favourite navy pieces.
I’ve pulled together a few of the things I currently have my eye on and I hope it gives you a little spring inspiration too. First off, this blouse from Boden is just so cute and it’s in the sale. I really like all of these frilly collars and details which are flying around at the moment. I think this would go really nicely with high-wasted skirts for a smart look or under my Fat Face dungaree dress if I fancy keeping things casual.
I always include some home and photography equipment in my wishlists and I’m currently longing for a few replacement items for my kitchen. I don’t think I’ll treat myself to anything ’til we move but I have my eye on the Smeg kettle and toaster in mint.
If you’ve been reading Prettygreentea for a while you’ll know that I always have a couple of tunic dresses in my wardrobe for the spring and summer months. This floral tunic dress from Anthropologie is a beauty and it has fantastic three-quarter length bell sleeves. When you don’t need to pair an outfit with a cardigan it makes your morning routine so much easier.
This blue cotton jumper is from M&S. They also have it in pink and brilliant white. I spotted them last week in Sheffield and they just look so cosy for chilly evenings. I can imagine throwing this on with a simple outfit of light jeans and Converse.
Have you guys shopped with People Tree before? They’re a fab ethical clothing company and well worth a browse. They always have a good selection of t-shirts and this red stripe t-shirt is lovely. I don’t usually like anything with words or slogans on but I think this one is really sweet, especially as it has a little heart on it.
It’s no secret that I love a Michael Kors handbag. They’re boxy, structured and very good quality. I have a couple and they really do keep their shape and the zips are strong. This cross body bag is adorned with flowers and would look perfect with a white dress. I particularly like the bright bursts of orange, they’re just so cheerful.
I can’t decide if this pink pinafore dress looks a bit too young for me or if I shouldn’t care and just go for it anyway. I do love pinafore dresses. They’re so easy and comfortable to wear.
You might have seen these floral Boden trainers knocking about on Instagram. They’re so pretty and as I often wear Converse and Vans I know I’d get a lot of wear out of these.
Sophie from Onetenzeroseven makes these beautiful gold triangle earrings and I really fancy picking up a pair. They’re just so dainty and simple but would add a nice touch to any outfit. I like being able to wear earrings that go with all of my outfits. I don’t want to change them out every day.
Navy is one of my most worn colours throughout the year. It’s even better when it’s teamed with red. So, it will come as no surprise that I’m a big fan of this navy t-shirt dress. I think it would be so easy and comfortable to wear as a casual day dress with white Converse.
I told you I couldn’t go without including a couple of photography accessories on my seasonal wishlist. I’m always keen to learn more and improve upon the equipment I have. The first thing I’d like to add to my collection is this tripod arm for shooting overhead. I’d also like to get hold of one of these photography lights. I think they’d both be useful additions to my photography kit.
Back to navy for a moment. This Munthe Karma Dress from Trouva is covered in tiny little stars. It has lots of frills and layers which gives it a unique look. I think it would look really cute with a pair of comfy loafers. I think white loafers are super versatile and very comfortable.
The last dress on my wishlist is this white shirt dress from Topshop. I’ve had a lot of good shirt dresses over the years and always get a lot of wear out of them. I really like the long sleeves on this one and the ruffled details.
The red western ankle boots are perfect to wear with spring and summer dresses. The buckle details really add to the western feel without having to opt for a full cowboy boot.
Finally, we have possibly my favourite find of the weekend, these suede boots from ASOS. I might actually make an order as soon as I’ve shared this post. They’re my perfect type of boot. I like the sweet little accessories and I can imagine wearing these throughout the spring and summer. Well, when it’s not raining.
