I’m all about the cactus trend right now. I hope it never goes away and it seems I’m not alone either. I’ve spotted so many fantastic cactus prints available on pretty dresses, t-shirts, bikinis, homeware and even these awesome temporary tattoos.
I thought it would be fun to pop on here today and share a few of my cactus-inspired finds with you. I personally find wishlist posts very handy. I’m a firm believer in shopping mindfully and not buying clothes to simply hide away in your cupboard. So with a wishlist post I can hear what you think of the pieces before deciding what to invest in. I hope the post also gives other cactus loving folk some inspiration.
One of the first pieces that I’ve had my eye on is the Ted Baker Shift Dress. I always like Ted Baker clothes, especially their dresses. I find they fit well and the quality is good. This print isn’t as loud as some of their other prints and it’s really quite chic. I can see this being a real winner throughout the spring and summer months.
Although I’ve already got this beauty of a necklace from the Onetenzeroseven collection I still have my eyes on the dangly earrings. Sophie creates such unique designs and I always get a lot of compliments when I wear her creations. She’s also been showing off some upcoming designs over on Instagram Stories.
Sticking with the indie biz theme, this dress by Get Lost Clothing is just so fun. I love the shape, the print and of course, the Peter Pan collar. The dress is 100% cotton and is made to order.
The skirt which is covered in potted cacti is by Yumi. I’ve had quite a few dresses from the brand before and they’ve all been pretty good quality. I also love that they sell a lot of skater cut skirts and dresses, I find the cut very flattering on me.
The cactus print shirt is a little more pricy but it’s just so chic. It’s by Equipment which is a brand I’ve heard a lot of good things about. You can find the shirt in Trilogy Stores (a London based boutique) which has a really good selection of their shirts.
If you haven’t been to Thunder Egg in Manchester and you’re a cactus fan then you better change that. They have such a good selection of cactus print dresses, t-shirts and cardigans. I particularly liked this one because of the colour and the little collar.
The last 3 items on my list are from ASOS. There’s the comfy looking t-shirt dress which I can just tell will be perfect for my next summer holiday. The fun trainers are very high up on my wishlist and perfect for jazzing up a simple outfit. Finally there’s the simple cactus t-shirt with the large illustration. I think the t-shirt is an easy way to introduce cactus prints into your outfits.
Leave a comment below and let me know which you’d pick.
Thanks to Trilogy Stores for collaborating with me on this post.
