Happy Easter. We usually go to my parents place for a meal but this time ’round we’re up in Sheffield. It’s just the two of us today so we’ve been out for a lovely walk and a coffee in the town. We’ve done a lot of walking this weekend actually but tonight will be all about cooking and baking.
The coffee we had today was so good that I decided I must pop on here and share it with you. I only managed to get a couple of snaps but I just wanted to give you a heads up incase you find yourself in Sheffield. We’ve been to Marmadukes Cafe Deli a quite a few times, it’s even on my list of 5 places to grab a coffee in Sheffield, but it’s been a while since we last went. It’s very popular and usually really busy. Luckily, I spotted an empty table through the window so we dashed in. They offer a good selection of brunch options, delicious sandwiches and of course, a fab selection of cakes.
On this occasion we both opted for a cortado with oat milk (yay for dairy free options). It’s a shorter drink than my usual flat white and this one had a much richer flavour. The decor in Marmadukes is lovely. They have big wooden tables, fresh white walls and open lighting. I can’t wait to go back again soon.
