I’ve been loving all the bonus sunshine we’ve been having here in Sheffield. Although it’s important for me to point out that I don’t have to get on a busy tube each day or wear an uncomfortable uniform in this heat. I think that makes it much easier to enjoy and embrace the good weather. I can totally understand that many people want and need a break from it and I totally sympathise.
I thought it would be fun to share my summer bucket list with you. I’ve had this sitting in my phone for a while now and have already ticked off a few things. However there’s still time to do everything else and perhaps it will give you a little summer inspiration.
I like to make a bucket list for each season. It’s just a bunch of stuff I’d like to do and because I have them in a list I tend to take a little extra time to make plans to ensure they happen.
Let’s dive into the list!
Take a day trip to Brighton – P and I had a fab trip there on Wednesday
Go for a picnic – L and I had a lovely picnic in Lille
Read outside in the sunshine
Make homemade ice lollies
Have a BBQ in the garden of our new home
Get back into yoga and pilates
Go for a long countryside walk
Go to a local farmer’s market to stock up on fresh bread and fruit
Make a cocktail video recipe – I’ve made 3 videos I’m so proud of
Read 6 business/self-dev books
Start learning to make bread – I made my 3rd loaf tonight
Take a day trip to York
Make homemade ice cream
Complete my office so it’s fully functional
