Phil and I started October off in Cambridge.
I decided to set myself the rather ambitious challenge of uploading daily videos throughout the month. It didn’t quite work out but it meant I managed to capture lots of video content and I can’t wait to get creative with it.
We spent some much needed time with family and friends and finally tried out Bould Brothers – they do an excellent flat white.
We announced our exciting family news with this snap of a pumpkin and I shared my story and thoughts about finding out I was pregnant.
We went for a fantastic afternoon tea at the Patisserie Valerie in Sheffield.
I started working from coffee shops again and it made a refreshing change. I like to work from Starbucks because they don’t mind people staying for a few hours and are well equipped with plug sockets. I normally support local and independent coffee shops but it’s important for those businesses to get as many people into their shops as possible.
I then had an unexpected trip to Cornwall with Gemma and C for a week.
The weather was beautiful all week so we took morning walks on the beach before heading off on day trips.
We visited Port Isaac, a cute little fishing village which you may be familiar with from the TV show, Doc Martin.
We visited the Eden Project which was really interesting if a little expensive for what it was.
I purchased my first items of clothing for the baby from a lovely little shop in St.Ives, Laffkids. How cute is this little strawberry hat?
One of my favourite trips was to Polperro, a quaint little fishing village with cute shops, friendly people and a tiny model village.
We popped into Rick Stein’s fish and chip restaurant and had the most delicious cod bites.
Halloween rolled around very quickly.
We were ready with pumpkins, fairy lights and a bag of treats.
A rare blue sky in Sheffield towards the end of October.
I had to capture this fab lighting in Norfolk Park.
I hope you all had a fantastic October.
